Hearing Aid Repair and Reconditioning
Repair charges vary depending on the aid and work required. The cost to repair a hearing aid can be as low as $25 for a simple repair, to as high as $175 to $300 for a more complex repair with a twelve month warranty. At AHL we recondition old solder connections and do preventative maintenance with every repair.
Most hearing aid users can receive improvement if the
total analysis of their hearing loss and hearing instrument is properly
compared. The clients hearing test, called an audiogram, is compared
to an electronic analysis of their present hearing aid
and, if necessary, a course of action for improvement is presented.

Whenever appropriate, hearing aid circuitry can be changed. Some possible upgrades include ASP, class D, K-AMP, wide dynamic range compression, dual channel compression. There are many circuits that would provide different results in a specific situation.
Electronic
or program modification is available immediately, including changes
in gain, output level, frequency response, and compression parameters.
It is usually done while you are in the office with us and in less than
15 minutes. |
